As well as being the author of six published novels, a memoir, four other non-fiction books and the editor of two short story collections, I also have over 35 years experience as a journalist and editor.

I’ve run master classes and creative writing workshops for the Guardian and HMP Thameside, and as part of the Polari literary salon Arts Council funded touring programme since 2014. I deliver workshops in person and online.

Many participants have gone on to perform at Polari and other literary events and to see their work published.

Prices start at £60 for an hour session, for an extract up to 3000 words (fee payable in advance).
